Greg Gill
From the French Quarter during the height of the AIDS epidemic to a career working alongside some of the most recognizable names in LGBTQ advocacy, Greg Gill’s life has crossed several defining chapters of queer history. After leaving Louisiana for New Orleans in his twenties, Greg came out, found sobriety, and experienced both community and profound loss as AIDS devastated those around him. His journey later took him to Los Angeles, where he built a career in fashion, public relations, and event production, including work with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and other major LGBTQ organizations. Along the way, Greg found an enduring partnership with Rob, with whom he has shared more than 30 years. After surviving the devastating 2025 Eaton Fire in Altadena, Greg reflects on resilience, gratitude, and a philosophy that has guided much of his life: go where the love is.
